Meet Stella!
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted an English Bulldog. They just make me smile. My husband and I finally decided to take the plunge and we welcomed Stella into our home and hearts. I hope you enjoy following Stella on her adventures as much as we do!
That’s whole lotta cute going on right there.

If you have been following me for a while, you know I’m obsessed with Etsy.com. There are the most unique and beautiful handmade and vintage things on there.
While exploring the shops one night I came across this shop called Midnight Blue Jewels. Emma, the shop owner, is a twenty four year old student who started making jewelry mainly as a way of amusing herself and the hobby grew into a passion. I saw these “print” necklaces that she makes from animal or people prints and had to have one!
Once you contact her she sends you an ink-less print kit and you follow the instructions to get the print you want. You can either snail-mail the print back or scan it and email it to her. Unfortunately, my scanner was not cooperating at the time and I had to snail-mail it.
The whole process didn’t take to long at all considering she lives in London! I was so pleased with the final product! It is such a special necklace for me! This would be such a great gift for an animal lover or a new mother…or just for yourself! The ink-less kit she sends is the same kind of kit that hospitals use for newborns so it is safe to use!
Emma was such a pleasure to do business with as well! I highly recommend this shop!
Have I ever mentioned how much Stella and I love Etsy.com? I have found some really cool, unique things on Etsy and being a small business owner myself, I love to support other small businesses and artists. I also love the idea of buying something that was made just for me:) I had been searching for a while for “the perfect tag” for Stella. I will admit, Stella is kinda picky ;) We finally came across AoDesigns on Etsy and I fell in love with the horseshoe stamp! I told the artist what I wanted on the tag and a few weeks later it was in my mailbox! Stella and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! Click on the picture to visit the website!
Bully nap! When Stella isn’t napping she like to help me shop on Etsy.com! Stella’s latest etsy find…her new dog tag! Click on the picture to visit AoDesigns on Etsy! Sorry I blurred the tag out a bit…Stella is to young for phone calls ;)

We found Skipper’s Biscuit Company at the Rehoboth Farmers Market. Stella loves the peanut butter and banana biscuits! I love that they are a local company and they are locally made…it also doesn’t hurt that the biscuits are shaped like turtles or sharks. So cute!!! Check out www.skipperscompany.com to get some for your best friend!
I have developed an unhealthy addiction to shopping on Etsy for Stella. I just can’t help myself ;-) I found this awesome shop called Pipsqueak and Petunia and immediately fell in love with her unique fabrics. I ordered 2 collars, 2 leashes and a bed for Stella before I even got her! Once I got Stella I found that harnesses were better for her, and after a few weeks she developed an appetite for her leashes so we had to switch to a chain leash. Even though we don’t use the collars and leashes to much they were excellent quality. Pretty bummed because I love the fabrics I ordered…but she LOVES her bed! I am so thankful she didn’t chew on it like she did her other bed! It has the cutest print…little wide eyed deer and mushrooms on one side and whimsical pine trees on the other side. The cover is removable for washing and the bed itself is washable too. Stella has many sweet dreams on this bed :)
Check out this shop! She is super sweet to work with and has so many beautiful and unique things in her shop! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Pipsqueakandpetunia
My friend/business partner, Erin, had this custom picture painted of Stella and gave it to me for my birthday! I love it! She found the artist, Manda Wolfe, on Etsy. If you aren’t familiar with Etsy, you MUST check it out! It is the go-to website for unique, handmade or vintage things…perfect if you are looking for that “perfect” gift! I love my painting so much I think I’m going to use my birthday money to get portraits of my cats:)
